Sarah Macapagal

Sarah has worked predominantly in family law since 2015, starting as a paralegal and, following her admission in 2018, progressing to a solicitor and senior associate exclusively practising in family law at a high-end boutique firm renowned for its expertise in criminal law, personal injury, and family law. In this period, Sarah developed extensive experience across all areas of family law, including property settlements, parenting matters, child support, divorce, and family violence.

Sarah joined Carew Counsel in March 2026 and continues to work closely with clients, providing comprehensive assistance, strategic advice. She regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and has appeared and instructed on complex property and parenting matters.

Sarah takes pride in being client-focused and approachable and is known for her emotional intelligence in supporting clients through what is often a highly challenging and emotional time. She has the ability to listen carefully to clients in an understanding manner and provide clear, practical advice.
