Peter Carew

Peter Carew
Having commenced the practice in 1979, Peter brings over four decades of legal experience to Carew Counsel, as well as a keen ability to find pragmatic solutions to even the most complex of issues.
Peter served on the Family Law Specialist Accreditation Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria for 10 years. In 2012, 2014 and 2016-2020, Doyles Guide named him a Leading Family Lawyer for Victoria and a Leading Lawyer for Complex & High-Value Family Law matters. Peter was also a founding member of Law Australasia, a group of like-minded legal firms that pursue excellence in the practice of the law.
With his ability to present complex issues in simple language, his great sense of humour, and his passion for helping people, Peter is a true asset to the Carew Counsel team.

Achieved from the Law Institute of Victoria in 1990.
Bachelor of Economics & Law
