Louise Date holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. She was admitted to practise in Victoria and in all Federal Courts of Australia in 1985.

Louise has over thirty years practise in the law and before joining Carew Counsel in 2006, she practised primarily in civil litigation and in private client work in Property, Trusts & Estate Planning.

She now practises in Family Law and Estate Planning and became an Accredited Family Law Specialist in 2011.

Louise has extensive experience in Wills and Estates, as well as in litigation involving disputed wills. Louise is involved in the Wills and Estate Planning specialist division of the Law Australasia Group.

Louise uses her wealth of knowledge and excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding, cost effective advice and results for her clients in all areas in which she practises.
